The New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association announces: "Federal Indian Law 101, Including Indian Gaming." It will be held on February 3, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., in Courtroom 279 of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana. Elizabeth Kronk, Assistant Professor, Texas Tech University School of Law, will present an overview of Indian Law, including a discussion of political identity, tribal sovereign immunity, public law 280, the Marshall Trilogy, civil jurisdiction, criminal jurisdiction, and Indian gaming.
The CLE has been approved for two (2) credit hours.
